Young ARTA Cineclub

At the Young ARTA Film Club, we offer high school pupils from Cluj an opportunity to watch thought-provoking films, followed by guided discussions.

The film club started with the aim of enriching the cinematic experience, educating the eye and the mind, and developing critical thinking amongst high school students, whom we encourage to express their opinions, ask questions and cultivate a personal, active relationship with the art of film.

Each screening is followed by a discussion in which, alongside facilitators, the teenagers explore not only the subject matter, but also how the visual and narrative choices serve the director’s intentions.
