Due to the world situation at this point, most of our activities, professional or personal, had a lot to suffer and has profoundly affected us. This has made us wonder what new turns and paths we should take to continue with our work. As new media artists, some may think that for us it is easier to work only from our computers. But it is not. We still need social interaction, communication, and physical-world events to bring us together and our works closer to the people. Static Flow is our representation through colour of the data flow and information that surrounded us during isolation; we were simply witnesses, not an active part of it, thus making us feel abandoned and powerless. This work is the result of our state of mind during the lockdown.

Hybrid Lab is a studio founded in 2017 by Eranio Petruska and Ana-Bianca Tudorică. Our projects are developed following patterns as diverse as possible, thus trying to avoid being producers of serial producers of artistic works. This is the main reason why adaptability and alternative approaches are the basic principles of our studio when we conceive and produce a project. All this has contributed to our experience in animation, video mapping, visual effects, light design, sound design, 3D modeling, LED programming, interactive installations, and scenography.
